This is the eleventh annual report summarizing the results of the FDA pesticide residue monitoring program. This current report includes findings obtained during FY 1997 (October 1, 1996 through September 30, 1997) under regulatory and incidence/level monitoring. Selected Total Diet Study findings for 1997 are also presented. Results in this and earlier reports continue to demonstrate that levels of pesticide residues in the U.S. food supplyare well below established safety standards. It presents references, figures, and tables.
