The CANNUSE database has been developed by scientists from the EtnoBioFiC research group, based at the Institut Botànic de Barcelona and the Universitat de Barcelona. The research group focuses on the study of plant genome evolution and the exploration of traditional knowledge of plants. It is serves as an extensive information source on various aspects of Cannabis uses. It compiles data from numerous publications, covering medicinal, alimentary, fibre, and other ethnobotanical uses of Cannabis from diverse geographical areas and cultures worldwide.
