Groundwater: what it is and how to protect it

It's intended to answer some questions relating to groundwater, as: what is it?; why is it important?; how to protect it?; where it comes from?; how it moves?; and, what are the grounwater contaminants? It presents a table of potencial groundwater contaminant sources, and one of community actions for protecting groundwater, and suggestions for further reading.
